Cocktail Pairings for your favorite scents

At Caia Candle Co., we strive to create a multi-sensory experience to accompany each unique scent. Each candle has been perfectly paired with its own corresponding custom cocktail or bottle of wine to complement every note of each candle. See below chart for all the candle and drink pairings, including recipes for our custom cocktails. Some of these cocktails can also be enjoyed as virgin beverages. Light, sip, enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups watermelon chunks
1oz fresh lime juice
2oz Vodka
1 tsp simple syrup
Ice
DIRECTIONS:
Combine all ingredients in a blender on high. Strain through a fine mesh sieve and serve over ice.
OLD PINE
Best paired with:
BAILEYS' SPIKED HOT CHOCOLATE
INGREDIENTS:
3 cups milk of choice
2/3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup sugar
1 pinch salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
4oz Baileys
DIRECTIONS:
In a saucepan, combine milk, chocolate, sugar, and salt. Heat on medium low and stir. Continue mixing until chocolate melts completely and it comes to a low simmer (do not boil). Once lightly simmering, immediately remove from heat. Add vanilla and stir to combine. Add Irish cream to glasses or mugs and ladle in hot chocolate.

WITCH DOCTOR: TURMERIC AND GINGER COCKTAIL
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup water
5 inch piece of peeled fresh ginger
1/2 cup honey or agave
1 tsp turmeric
1 lemon
2 oz Gin
ginger ale
club soda
DIRECTIONS:
Make your simple syrup: Combine water and ginger and boil. Add honey or agave and simmer. Stir for one minute. Turn heat off and add turmeric. Strain with a fine sieve.
In a shaker, combine ice, 1oz syrup, gin and 1/2 oz lemon juice. Shake until cold. Add to glass with ice and top with half ginger ale half soda water
**for a shortcut you could use pre-made simple syrup and muddle the ginger and turmeric in it and let it sit.
SLEEPLESS

THE SUBURBS

ROSEMARY GREYHOUND
INGREDIENTS:
2oz vodka
The juice/ pulp of 1/2 grapefruit
0.5 oz rosemary simple syrup
splash of club soda or sparkling water
Sprigs of fresh rosemary
squirt of lime
DIRECTIONS:
Muddle grapefruit and rosemary in a shaker. add vodka, simple syrup and lime,. Shake until cold and serve over ice. Top with club soda or sparkling water. Garnish with fresh rosemary.
SWEET LIFE

INGREDIENTS:
3oz Pineapple Juice
3oz Orange Juice
3oz Spiced Rum
2oz white rum
1/2oz Triple Sec
1/2oz Orgeat Syrup
1/2oz fresh lime juice
Splash of Grenadine
Ice
Pineapple Wedge & Maraschino cherry for garnish
DIRECTIONS:
Combine ice, pineapple juice, orange juice, coconut rum, orgeat syrup, lime and triple sec in a cocktail shaker and shake. Pour over ice and top with spiced rum and grenadine. Garnish with pineapple and maraschino cherries.

WEST COAST

APEROL SPRITZ
INGREDIENTS:
2oz Aperol
4oz Prosecco
Splash of Club Soda
Orange Slice for Garnish
DIRECTIONS:
Fill a wine glass with ice. Pour in Aperol, Prosecco, then club soda. Garnish with an orange slice.
WHITE FERRARI
Best paired with:
CUCUMBER MINT SPRITZ (makes 2)
INGREDIENTS:
1 Cucumber
1 Lime, juiced
10 leaves of mint
1 sugar cube
6oz Gin
0.5 oz St Germian
top with Club Soda
DIRECTIONS:
Chop and crush cucumber in a bowl. Strain through a fine sieve, pressing the solids with a spoon to extract all the liquid. Place lime juice, sugar cube, and mint in a glass and muddle until sugar is dissolved. Combine sugar mixture, cucumber juice, vodka or gin, and St Germain in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake. Use a strainer and pour over ice and top with club soda. Garnish with cucumber ribbons and mint leaves.
